How will people find my website?

It's your job to make it easy for people to find your site. The more people that do, the more money you can make. There are many ways of getting people onto your site (the people who visit your site are called traffic). Here are the popular ways of promoting your site:

Search engine traffic

Directories

Directories are different from search engines in that they are sorted by hand. Directories are almost always free however most require that you link back to them. You simply submit your site to the relevent section, i.e. Entertainment > Gambling > Casino > Table games > Blackjack.

Forums

Look for discussion forums that are gaming-related. Find threads in which people are discussing something relevant to your site. Respond to that thread with a link to your site. DON'T just go arond posting links to your site indiscriminately, this is spamming and counter-productive.

Advertising

Word of Mouth

Don't forget to promote your site to your friends and family. If some people from the office are thinking of getting poker game started, or planning a trip to a casino, mention your site. You don't even have to say you own it if you don't want to. If some of your friends are thinking of signing up to an online casino or bookmaker make sure they use your site!
